Over the years a wide range of options for the HIS 13 has been developed (HIS-series) to best meet the requirements of todays band structure analysis using PES and ARPES. The biggest highlight is the focusing mirror delivering a light spot < 180 µm for both non- and monochromated HeI/II lines at 67 mm effective working distance as shown in the spot profile.
