It was a pleasure for us to be part of the 734. WE-Heraeus Seminar “Photoemission Tomography: Applications and Future Developments” . Photoemission Tomography is a modern method to reveal the spatial distribution of molecular orbitals. It uses a combination of momentum maps (like they are acquired by the NanoESCA Momentum Microscope) and a theoretical framework.
Among the hot-spots where the technique was established are definitely the NanoESCA facility at the Trieste synchrotron and the University in Graz, but the conference clearly showed that a steadily increasing amount of scientific groups are achieving great results with this method.
